Hollywood Actress Brittany Murphy died of 'multiple drug intoxication'

Hollywood Actross Brittany Murphy aged 32 , the star of movies “Clueless” and “8 Mile” were found dead on december 20 at her Hollywood Hills home.According to the Los Angeles County coroner's office  "Pneumonia was the primary cause of her death, with contributing factors of iron deficiency anaemia and multiple drug intoxication ".

Her husband - Simon Monjack and mother - Sharon Murphy, told the investigators that she had been experiencing flu-like symptoms in the days before her death and they also insisted the actress not to abuse prescription medications .

The former chief medical examiner in New York City, Dr Michael Baden,  said that the coroner's determination indicated drugs probably must played a key role in her death. He also added that if she died of pneumonia, than the death of her is a natural cause.A memorial for a foundation in Brittany Murphy's was cancelled due to her death.
