The film by Karan Johar “My Name Is Khan” was successfully released with the police security outside theatres. This film has made a history on its first day as the world wide collection is estimated to be Rs. 25 crores as Friday was not a holiday, that too with limited release in theaters. It also a record in UK box office as the movie was previewed with £123k from 89 sites on Thursday which takes fourth place.
There were also some unwanted activities in theaters in Mumbai, a screen was also torn by the shiv Sena activists. By the immediate act of the police the situation was under control. Nearly 30 activists were arrested. However the afternoon show went well as lot of people turned to see the movie.
There were some news that a huge print demand exist across the middle east and the prints were expected to be increased. In the upcoming week the film will be released in Egypt , Jordan and some other countries also.
